Lulus never disappoints. I buy all my cakes here for any occasion. The last cake I purchased the team did a phenomenal job! True artisanal cake and tastes amazing too! The owner always goes far and beyond to make sure every detail is done to perfection. Thank you again Lulus bakery for an amazing cake! It stole the show and my daughter loved it.

Great bakery with delicious pastries. We got a box of assorted desserts from the $22/lb section. I enjoyed the cannolis, cream puffs, and the fruit tart. I didn't really enjoy the rum pastry. Would definitely recommend trying this bakery!

I would've given Lulu's a 5-star rating if it weren't for my experience with one of the workers this morning when I came in to pick up my custom cake order. It was my first time picking up a custom cake order so I thought I would be able to go up to the front of the line since it was a pick-up order and it looked like everyone else on line was waiting to order. I told the employee that I was here to pick up a custom order but she told me that I still have to wait on line. Weird, but I didn't argue since that's their policy and I told her that's fine and went to the back of the line. I did not argue, make any face, or give her a hard time. While I was on line, I saw her talking to her coworker about how "someone" thought they could just come to the front of the line and went on about it for a minute. I knew she was talking about me because she used her hands to describe something I had in my hair. It completely turned me off because if you're going to say something about a customer, do it when you aren't within ear-shot or line of sight. However, everyone else I interacted with regarding my cake order was amazing - especially Angela! And the cake was perfection. Highly recommend!

My sister order gender reveal cupcakes from Lulu's that were absolutely delicious. Wish there was a bit more frosting inside of the cupcake with the gender because we missed it during the first round of checking to see who had it. The bakery is very cute with a few tables for seating.

This is an amazing spot for baked goods and sweets. It was my dad's birthday wanted to get him Very Berry Napoleon cake but unfortunately they didn't have it. Tried their strawberry shortcake and Oreo pastry as well as heart shaped macron for Valentine's Day special. They were gone before I even got the chance to take a picture of them hahaha my family basically just gulp it down!! The strawberry shortcake was my favorite sooo goood every bite was satisfying. It was so busy but the line moved pretty fast as service is good. They have seating area inside the bakery to enjoy your goodies. Their prices are really fair not outrageous compared to some bakeries. Surely be back soon it's worth it!!

I love coming here to get their lobster tails or pistachio cornetto. But when I asked them for a custom 2-tier birthday cake in 3 days, they delivered. Two cakes - bottom layer vanilla and raspberry and top chocolate pistachio - divine. And the gold ombre with the flecks of foil - glamorous. Definitely recommend them for your next special occasion.

Today I tried their gelato and got to recommend it. They have quite a few options and I wasn't sure which one to pick so I asked if I can try first. The staff was very keen to let me try. I tried pistachio and Giandula (chocolate mix with hazelnuts) and like both of them. So I got two scoops in one cup which cost me $5.50. What a deal! I personally like nuts and the gelato of the chosen flavors contain lots of nuts. That's why I go for them after sample tasting.

There are a ton of bakeries in the borough, but not many will do it as well as Lulu's. Named after the owner's favorite French treat and subsequently his wife, they've served the Fresh Meadows neighborhood for close to two decades. They're as versatile as they come and a complete bakery from top to bottom. Any reason to come here is a good one. For starters, it smells wonderful in here. There is a handful of seats for folks who want to enjoy their desserts in-house and this place makes for a nice meeting spot as well. The lighting is on point and depending on the holidays, there may or may not be a line of locals right out the door. They specialize in a number of items, but many folks know them for their customized cakes. These cakes are perfect for all occasions, especially for special ones. They made some intricate designs and are good about finishing them in a timely manner. They always have something excellent in their cake display. I highly recommend their pistachio mousse or their torta americana, if available. Their cheesecakes are incredibly underrated from their classic New York to Italian. Their pies are exceptional, even if they are seasonal. While it's not well advertised, they also make a mean carrot cake and napoleon cake. The fruit tarts are also outstanding and come in a variety of flavors and sizes. When in doubt, the very berry tarts and strawberry tarts are major winners. If their pastries display shows bread pudding or lobster tail, it's definitely worth ordering since those items are not always available. The cupcakes don't get much shine but should be taken seriously since they're better than much of the cupcake specialty spots around town. The brownies, eclairs, and Italian cookies are also popular amongst the community. Their staff has always been very warm and very good about making recommendations. They're friendly, professional, and have excellent phone manners. If I have a special occasion or am simply in a rush and looking for sweet treats to share with others, Lulu's is definitely a top choice.
